I’ve been researching travel ideas and Egypt travel packages popped up as something that could be amazing for anyone planning a big bucket-list trip this year. Egypt’s history, culture, Nile cruises and desert landscapes are incredibly tempting, but I’m curious — what’s your experience with packages vs DIY planning?
I’ve found some packages that include different combinations of Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Hurghada and even desert tours — from short 4–5 day highlights to longer 10–12+ day explorations.
Here are a few ideas I’m considering:

• Giza Pyramids + Sphinx in Cairo
• Egyptian Museum and old city tours
• Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan
