Himlung Himal (7,126m) anyone climbed or considering it this season

Been looking into Himlung Himal as a slightly quieter alternative to the usual 8000m crowd routes — it's in the Manaslu region, technically non-8000m but a solid training peak for bigger objectives like Manaslu or beyond.

A few things I found useful while researching:
  • Best climbing window is spring (April–May) and autumn (Sept–Oct)
  • Approach goes through the Nar-Phu valley, which is a restricted area, so permits take longer to arrange than standard trekking permits
  • Route is technically moderate — good for climbers wanting 7000m altitude experience without extreme technical difficulty
  • Acclimatization matters a lot here since access is remote compared to Everest/Annapurna regions

If anyone's climbed it recently, would love to hear about current route conditions and camp setups. I came across a detailed itinerary breakdown here that helped me understand the logistics: https://www.namasadventure.com/himlung-himal-expedition — happy to compare notes if others are looking at the same window
