Hi !
I will stay in Theth for a couple of days an hike to Valbona...
it takes 8-10 hours - but how can i go back to theth after the walk ?
are there minibuses, taxis,...
or do i have to take the bus to the ferry and then go via skodra and get from there to theth ?

The Theth–Valbona hike is usually done one-way, since there isn’t really a direct shuttle or taxi link between the two valleys. Most travelers do the classic loop: hike Theth → Valbona, then take the minibus down the valley to Fierza, hop on the Koman ferry across the lake, and continue by bus/van back to Shkodër. From there you can get back to Theth if needed, though it’s a long day.


If you absolutely want to return to Theth the same way, you’d need to arrange a private transfer in advance (not cheap). Many guesthouses in both Theth and Valbona can help organize transport and will coordinate with the ferry schedule.
