Hi all,

I am (loosely) planning a 6 month journey to S.E. Asia from mid June onwards this year.

Has anyone volunteered out there and did you get a visa? I want to break up my travelling by volunteering at animal rescue shelters but visa form requests exact dates and in most cases I won't know until I get there. Does anyone have experience of this and/or knowledge of what to do.

Thanks in advance.

It will depend on what country you are going to. Every country has its own visa regulations. Indonesia for example is very strict and you can get deported for volunteering on a tourist visa.
