Hadrian's Wall in August

Hi TTers.

My 48 year old husband has travelled from Australia and is currently making his way overland from Greece to the UK, to solo hike Hadrian's Wall, end to end. He hopes to walk it in 8 - 10 days. He has a good guidebook and all the right gear. Love to hear from others who have done this and gain more detailed advice as to how to ensure a magical experience.

Also love to connect with anyone who might be willing to host or meet up with him or share a meal with him on this adventure?

Sorry, I have never done this, but it sounds like a great hike to go on. I am sure he will meet up with people along the way.
