TRAIN FROM VIENTIANE TO KUNMING

Does anyone happen to know how I can purchase a train ticket more than 3 days in advance? I need the ticket to get my Chinese Visa, but everywhere I look says the tickets are only available to purchase 3 days before, which means I won't get my Visa in time. Thank you!

I am not sure how a visa and train ticket are related.

LCR customer service is not good. Buying a ticket is one major problem. Advance purchase of tickets is 3 days maximum.

Are you trying to buy a ticket to China?

The Chinese can purchase 2 weeks in advance travel to Laos on their app. Maybe check into that possibility.

Wanderlust thanks for your response. It’s relevant because the train ticket in is part of the documentation required to get a Chinese Visa. May I ask why you say buying a ticket is a major problem?
